Visual Tree Assessment CPD

At Origin Arb Ltd we believe that understanding the knowledge of tree morphology will give you the right foundation to undertake a visual tree assessment prior to commencing work within the vicinity of trees, whether it is ground based or tree climbing. VTA’s (Visual Tree Assessment) are an important process for anyone working in and around trees. A VTA will identify potential hazards and/or defects within a tree and allow you to make an informed decision on the best plan of action to complete your work in a safe and controlled manner. A VTA will inform you of any potential ecological value a tree may have as it is very common for a defect to be a habitat for wildlife. To learn more on the ecological value of trees why not look at our Bats and trees CPD course.

This CPD course will commence as a classroom based session leading on to a practical session within a woodland. This will give you the opportunity to test your acquired knowledge of varying techniques in an appropriate setting with guided support.

Upon completion of the VTA course the candidates will be provided with a CPD certificate.
